must I contribute? |
Families must demonstrate a willingness to participate in the Habitat
ministry by helping build their own house and the homes of other Habitat
families. |

A total of 300 hours is required by each family, applied to the construction of their own home or others' homes, or in ongoing
fundraising or
administrative work of Habitat. |
Friends and relatives may assist in building up sweat equity hours,
but may not contribute more than 20% (60 hours). |
