Habitat currently builds new homes, we no longer renovate older
homes. |

A $500 down payment for
all homes is required by the house-buying family, but this can be
made in monthly payments. This is to be paid before moving
into the home. |

The chosen family buys the house from Habitat at 0% interest. The
mortgage can last anywhere from 10 to 30 years, depending on the
family's ability to pay. Monthly payments average around $325 plus taxes and
insurance. |

All mortgage payments are used to continue
the work of Habitat. |
